Outlook Integration
Connect your Microsoft 365 or Outlook account to let Dynaris agents send, receive, search, and manage your email and calendar.
What Outlook Provides
- Email -- Inbox, sent, drafts, folders; send, search, label
- Calendar -- Events, availability, scheduling (shared with Google Calendar use cases)
Connecting Outlook
- Open Connectors in the sidebar
- Find Microsoft 365 or Outlook and click Connect
- Sign in with your Microsoft account (work or personal)
- Grant the requested permissions (Mail, Calendar)
- You are redirected back to Dynaris with Outlook connected
What Agents Can Do
Send emails
"Send an email to sarah@example.com with a follow-up from our call"
The agent drafts and sends emails using your Knowledge Base and contact context.
Search your inbox
"Find emails from acme.com in the last week"
"Search for unread emails with 'invoice' in the subject"
Manage folders and labels
"Move emails from the marketing list to the Archive folder"
"Flag the latest email from John as important"
Draft emails
"Draft a reply to the last email from Sarah about the proposal"
Drafts are saved in Outlook for your review.
Calendar (with Outlook Calendar)
"What are my free slots tomorrow?"
"Book a meeting with John at 2pm on Thursday"
When Outlook is connected, calendar tools use your Outlook Calendar. Same scheduling flow as Google Calendar.
Event Triggers
With Outlook triggers enabled, Dynaris can automatically process:
- New emails -- Trigger a workflow when a new email arrives
- Emails matching criteria -- Filter by sender, subject, folder, or content
Combined with Auto Mode, this enables fully automatic email processing.
Use Cases
- Lead response -- Automatically reply to inbound leads within minutes
- Follow-up sequences -- Send scheduled follow-up emails
- Email summaries -- Generate daily digests of important emails
- CRM sync -- Extract contact info from emails and add to your database
- Scheduling -- Book meetings using Outlook Calendar availability
Outlook vs Gmail

|---|---|---|
| OAuth | Microsoft identity | Google identity |
| Calendar | Outlook Calendar | Google Calendar |
| Folders | Outlook folders | Gmail labels |
| Triggers | Supported | Supported |
Both integrate the same way: connect via Connectors, grant permissions, and agents use the same natural language interface.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Check |
|---|---|
| Connection fails | Ensure you have the correct Microsoft account; try in incognito |
| Missing permissions | Reconnect and grant Mail + Calendar scopes |
| Calendar not found | Verify Outlook Calendar is enabled for the account |
| Triggers not firing | Confirm trigger is configured; some delay is normal |
