Files and Documents
Dynaris includes a built-in file management system that allows you to store, organize, and actively use documents as part of your workflows. Files are not just stored — they are integrated into how AI agents read, generate, and process information across your system.
This makes files a working component of your automation, not just passive storage.
What the Files System Does
The Files module enables you to:
- Store documents and assets in one place
- Access files across workflows and conversations
- Allow AI agents to read and process file content
- Generate new files such as reports, exports, and documents
- Use files as inputs for analysis and automation
Files can be used directly within tasks, making them part of your operational data layer.
File Browser
The Files section in your dashboard displays all files in your workspace.
For each file, you can see:
- File name and format
- Preview (for supported file types)
- Upload date and file size
- Available actions such as open, download, or delete
This provides a centralized view of all documents used across your workflows.
Supported File Types
Dynaris supports a wide range of commonly used file formats.
Documents
- Word (.docx)
- Text files
Spreadsheets
- Excel (.xlsx)
- CSV
Images
- PNG

Uploading Files
You can add files to Dynaris in multiple ways:
- Drag and drop files into the Files section
- Use the upload option in the file browser
- Ask an AI agent to generate or save a file
Once uploaded, files are immediately available for use by agents and workflows.
How AI Agents Use Files
AI agents can interact with files as part of task execution.
Reading Files
Agents can extract and analyze content from documents, spreadsheets, and text files.
Example:
"Read the uploaded report and summarize key insights"
Creating Files
Agents can generate new files based on data or instructions.
Examples include:
- Reports
- Summaries
- Exported datasets
Editing Files
Agents can modify existing documents when required.
Listing and Accessing Files
Agents can search and retrieve relevant files from your workspace during workflows.
Example Use Cases
- Summarizing uploaded reports
- Generating documents from structured data
- Exporting leads or contacts into CSV format
- Creating presentations or summaries from existing files
Files can be directly combined with other features such as Contacts, Workflows, and Integrations.
File Viewer
Dynaris includes a built-in file viewer that allows you to open and review files without leaving the platform.
Supported capabilities include:
- Viewing PDFs with navigation
- Previewing Word documents
- Displaying spreadsheets with formatting
- Viewing images with zoom
- Editing text files
This allows you to quickly inspect and validate content.
How Files Fit Into Dynaris
The Files system works alongside other modules:
- Used by AI agents during task execution
- Referenced in workflows and automation
- Combined with Knowledge Base for context
- Connected with integrations for data exchange
This makes files part of a larger, connected system rather than isolated assets.
Storage and Security
All files are stored securely within your Dynaris workspace.
- Files are encrypted at rest
- Access is restricted to your account and authorized agents
- Storage limits are based on your plan
This ensures that your data remains protected while still being accessible for automation.
Best Practices
- Organize files with clear and descriptive names
- Remove outdated or unused files regularly
- Use structured formats (such as CSV or JSON) when possible
- Combine files with workflows for automation
- Validate generated files before external use
What's Next
- Upload your key documents and datasets
- Test how agents interact with your files
- Use files in workflows and automation
The more you integrate files into your processes, the more powerful Dynaris becomes as an operational system.
