Scheduling and Automation
Dynaris allows you to automate tasks by scheduling workflows that run at specific times, on recurring intervals, or based on your operational needs. These workflows execute independently using your AI agents, connected tools, and available data.
Once scheduled, Dynaris handles execution without requiring manual input, making it possible to automate routine work and maintain consistency across your processes.
What You Can Schedule
Dynaris supports multiple scheduling patterns to match different types of workflows.
Recurring Workflows
Used for routine operations that repeat over time.
Examples include:
- Daily summaries
- Weekly reviews
- Monthly reports
Interval-Based Workflows
Run continuously at a defined frequency.
Examples include:
- Every hour
- Every few hours
- Every day at a fixed interval
One-Time Workflows
Scheduled to run once at a specific time.
Examples include:
- Later today
- Tomorrow morning
- A specific date in the future
Creating a Schedule
You can create scheduled workflows in two ways.
Using the AI Assistant
You can describe your workflow in natural language.
Examples:
"Every Monday at 9am, check my Gmail and send me a summary on Slack"
"In 2 hours, follow up with the leads I imported today"
"Every weekday at 5pm, generate a report of today's activity"
Dynaris interprets your request, creates the workflow, and schedules it automatically.
Using the Schedule Module
You can also manage schedules directly from the Schedule section in the dashboard.
This allows you to:
- Create and configure workflows manually
- View upcoming executions
- Monitor past runs
How Scheduled Workflows Execute
When a scheduled workflow runs, Dynaris follows the same process used for any task:
- The workflow starts with the instructions and context you defined
- The Supervisor Agent evaluates the task
- Relevant agents are assigned to execute each step
- Actions are performed using your connected tools and data
- Results are recorded and made available for review
Scheduled workflows have full access to:
- AI agents
- Connected integrations
- Contacts and CRM data
- Knowledge base
Timezone Handling
All schedules operate based on your configured timezone.
When you schedule a task for a specific time, it will always run according to your local timezone settings.
Tracking and Monitoring
The Schedule module provides full visibility into your automation.
You can view:
- Upcoming runs and next execution times
- History of completed workflows
- Execution status and outcomes
- Whether a schedule is active or paused
This allows you to monitor performance and ensure workflows are running as expected.
Intelligent Scheduling
Dynaris supports dynamic and adaptive scheduling.
Workflows can create or modify schedules based on outcomes.
Example:
"Check my email every morning. If urgent messages are found, schedule follow-up calls for the afternoon."
In this case, Dynaris can:
- Evaluate incoming data
- Decide whether action is required
- Create new schedules automatically
This enables more responsive and context-aware automation.
Managing Schedules
From the Schedule module, you can:
- View all active and paused workflows
- Pause or resume schedules without deleting them
- Edit or remove existing schedules
- Review execution history
- Check upcoming run times
This gives you full control over how automation operates within your system.
Best Practices
- Start with simple recurring workflows before building complex automation
- Use clear and specific instructions when creating schedules
- Monitor initial runs to validate behavior
- Combine scheduling with integrations for end-to-end automation
- Use adaptive workflows for conditional logic
What's Next
- Create your first scheduled workflow
- Test a recurring automation
- Combine scheduling with Auto Mode for real-time execution
Scheduling allows Dynaris to move from reactive task execution to proactive, continuous automation across your operations.
